It has always interested me whenever I hear about the experiences of people living abroad to work and start a new life. What a great opportunity it was given to them, I thought. But as wild as a dreamer I was, I never expected that it will also happen to me - that I would be chosen and invested in and be given the gift of a new life, far away from the place I always called home. Much especially coming from a nation with a collective dream of leaving their plights and finding new spaces in the world not just to build their futures but also of those that they left behind on the islands, these stories are usually featured not just on movies but also through word of mouth which makes it even more moving, affective, and most of the time, inspiring. 

This is the drive behind this project of sharing stories from people who left their normal and usuals in search of something better, somewhere that can bring just a little bit more. Hope it will give insights and inspire other dreamers like me to keep on searching their place not just in their own world but on the bigger world outside our familiar borders. And also to celebrate the different souls "abroad" - those who made it, and especially those who are still trying to make it in their respective journeys of becoming.
